| In partnership with the Home Builders Institute (HBI), the educational
arm of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Delmar Cengage Learning
has created a set of practice tests and final exams
for each craft-skill area in the series, focused exclusively on
residential construction. Practice Tests track student knowledge
of the material as it is presented in the course as well as providing
instructors with important information for curriculum planning.
The Final Exams provide a venue for final evaluation at the conclusion
of the program. This online testing series provides many features
that will help students successfully complete their trade program: |
| Practice Tests are available at any time, and provide
students with the review and practice needed to track comprehension
of the material throughout the course and to help prepare for the
final test, as well as provide instructors with the information
they need to tailor their curriculum to meet student needs. |
| Study Tips provide valuable information for studying
and preparing to take the final exam. |
| Final Exam is offered in three separate question
banks, allowing for three opportunities to successfully pass the
test with a grade of at least 70%. Each exam attempt pulls a randomized
set of exam questions developed to correlate directly to the RCA
book and the National Skill Standards for that specific trade. |
| Flexible Testing Options allows instructors to tailor
tests to cover only the chapters that were covered in the course.
All chapters are available, and content is directly correlated to
the National Skill Standards developed for that specific trade. |
| Automatic Grading results are immediate upon completion
of the test. You will find your scores are recorded under the Reports
section of your course. For incorrectly answered questions, feedback
is provided with page references to accompanying book, and references
to specific Skill Standard and offers the necessary information
for review and self-study. |
| Student Certificate of Achievement is available
upon successful completion of the exam, allowing students the opportunity
to provide copies of certificates to prospective employers to prove
their skill level. |
